Specially designed for use on infants, the 3M™ Littmann® Classic II Infant Stethoscope has a small 2.7cm diaphragm on a dual-sided chestpiece that delivers high acoustic sensitivity, for both high and low frequency sounds.
The 3M™ Littmann® Classic II Infant Stethoscope is based on the proven design of 3M™ Littmann® Classic Stethoscopes, engineered for optimal comfort, performance, and longevity. This stethoscope is specially designed for the medical professional's physical assessment and diagnosis of infant patients. The dual-sided chestpiece provides high acoustic sensitivity for both high and low-frequency responses, while the headset tension is easily adjustable to fit various head sizes and provides comfort around the head by squeezing together or pulling apart the ear tubes. The 3M™ Littmann® Classic II Infant Stethoscopes resilient next-generation tubing retains its shape and flexibility, even after folding tightly into a pocket. It provides longer stethoscope life due to its improved resistance to skin oils and alcohol and is less likely to pick up stains. The 3M™ Littmann® Classic II Infant Stethoscope plays its part in the protection of human health and the environment by removing harmful phthalate plasticizers from the tubing materials composition.
